Gold Coast Accommodation Booking Guide
High Season is the Xmas and New Year holiday period. While dates may vary between different Gold Coast locations and between individual properties, it is generally the period from 20th Dec to 20th Jan. and bookings should be made at least 5-6 months in advance.

Mid Season (aka shoulder season) is usually the Easter long week-end, the Sept - Oct school holidays and a few days either side of the high season dates.  It  is advisable to book at least 3 months in advance. Mid-season rates usually apply to the Indy 300 carnival week-end although track-side properties charge premium rates.

Low Season is all other dates. Even for low season stays, it is advisable to book 60 days in advance as there are numerous festivals, events and conferences throughout the year that result in increased demand for Gold Coast accommodation.
